Delivery Rules

1. Delivery Timelines (The "5-10 Day" Rule)

The government mandates strict maximum timelines for order fulfillment:

  • Inside Dhaka (Same City): Delivery must be completed within 5 days of order confirmation.

  • Outside Dhaka (Inter-District): Delivery must be completed within 10 days.

  • Handover Rule: You must hand over the product to the courier service within 48 hours of receiving an order/payment and notify the customer via SMS, Email, or Phone.

2. Payment & Advance Rules

  • Ready-to-Ship: You can only take 100% advance payment if the product is in your stock and ready for immediate handover.

  • Pre-Orders: If a product is not in stock (common for imported beauty products), you cannot take more than 10% advance payment unless you are using a Bangladesh Bank-approved Escrow service.

  • Price Consistency: You cannot charge more for "Digital Payment" than for "Cash on Delivery." The listed price must be the same.

3. Shipping Charges

  • Transparency: All delivery charges must be clearly displayed at checkout. You cannot add "hidden" delivery fees after the order is placed.

  • Bundling: If a customer orders multiple items in one transaction, you should ideally provide a uniform delivery fee unless the weight exceeds standard limits.

4. Order Cancellation & Refunds

  • Failure to Deliver: If you cannot deliver within the 5 or 10-day window, you must notify the customer immediately.

  • Refund Timeline: If a prepaid order is canceled due to your inability to deliver, the refund must be processed within 10 days (via the same channel the customer used, e.g., bKash or Credit Card).

5. Product Inspection (The "Open Box" Standard)

In the Bangladesh beauty market, customers have the right to:

  • Verify the physical integrity of the product in front of the delivery agent.

  • Refuse the delivery if the seal is broken or the product is clearly damaged.
